In August 2024, I was returning home from a ministry opportunity in south Texas. While alone on an airport shuttle late one evening, three young adults boarded & sat directly across from me. The young lady in the center made eye contact with me & within a few moments’ time began to speak. “I need to get right with God. I once had a relationship with Him but have strayed away.” By the time I exited the shuttle to head to my car, I had the privilege of leading that young lady back to Jesus, as well as both of her friends, of which neither had accepted Christ before that night.

Wherever you go, with whomever you have proximity, the Good News can & should be shared.

What initially seemed to be “another day at the office” for me evolved into three eternal destinies, forever changed. This was a fresh reminder for me that evangelism is not a vocation, but rather it is a calling on the lives of all who claim Christ as Lord & Savior. We are to be His witnesses “telling people about (Him) everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 NLT) Wherever you go, with whomever you have proximity, the Good News can & should be shared. Take a moment today to ask the Holy Spirit, once again, to equip & empower you for ministry in the marketplace. And I will do the same.
